Thursday
Fayetteville City Council - 6pm
Requests from Crescent Communities, for the property located at Hwy 54 East/Weatherly Drive/Knight Way, to amend the Future Land Use Map from Neighborhood Center to Mixed Residential and to rezone the property from Neighborhood Commercial to Residential Townhouse and Condominium
Requests from Rochester | DCCM, for the property located at the northwest quadrant of the Highway 54 West and Gingercake Road Intersection, to amend the Future Land Use Map from Neighborhood Center to Neighborhood Residential 2
I have read complaints on Facebook from people who don’t like the idea of rezoning around Gingercake. This section of the city agenda packet includes letters from property owners in the area who want the rezoning. One is a 92-year-old man who no longer lives at the home in question, who in fact no longer lives in the state. He has been unable to sell his old home because no one wants to move into a house directly on GA-54, and who would blame them? With rezoning, he looks forward to being able to sell.
Staff Initiated requests, for the property located on North 85 Parkway, to amend the Future Land Use Map from Business Park to Industrial and rezone the property from Neighborhood Commercial (NC) to Light Industrial (LI)
Authorizing staff to transmit the Capital Improvements Element 2024 Annual Update for FY2023
Amendments to service agreement with SAFEbuilt, LLC
Tyrone Town Council - 7pm
Fayette County Development Authority is requesting that the town annex two properties, and rezone three more, along GA-74. The proposed future usage is “Community Gateway”.
Amending the town code to set a parking lot size requirement for data centers
Certificate of Appropriateness for a proposed small Hilton hotel near the Publix, buffered from the nearby subdivision with forest
There are some folks in town who are dead-set against there ever being a hotel in Tyrone… But this is a growing town. It’s bound to happen eventually.
